Saufänger / wild boar ...?

Den Saufänger haben wir mit der Hütte bekommen, er soll von einem Ur-Ur-Großvater stammen. Echt oder Deko? Keine Ahnung.



Folks, I don't know the name for this thing in the pic. Basicly it's for finishing off wild boars....a gigantic kind of a knife. U know the name? Please comment.


They told us, it's from a great-great-grandfather and it was in use. I don't know. Metal looks a bit weak for the job. What do u think ?
